Sales fell 4% to $1.14 billion & net income rose 41% to $34.5 million or 36 cents a share. Gross profit rate increased 78 basis points versus the fourth quarter last year. This increase was on top of 140 basis point increase during the same comparable period last year. comp store sales increased 3%.
